I am very excited to announce that this year we have Jonathan Tweet as our Gaming Guest of Honor. Jonathan is an American game designer from Rock Island, Illinois who has been involved in the development of the role-playing games Ars Magica, Everway, Over the Edge, Talislanta, the third edition of Dungeons & Dragons, 13th Age, and the Collectible Miniatures Game Dreamblade. In 2015 Tweet released Grandmother Fish, a full-color, full-sized book about evolution aimed at preschoolers. We are very honored to have him attending our convention.
In addition to Jonathan we will have events hosted by Dragondyne Publishing, Dragonstorm, and other game demonstrations. Riding on the heels of last year’s success we will once again be doing miniature painting panels. It should be a big year for gaming! Hope to see you all there.
After a long break Magic and Pokémon tournaments return to Rustycon! This year we will have multiple tournaments complete with prize support hosted by Epic Games LLC. In addition, Epic Games will be hosting a video game room for all of you fighting game enthusiasts.
Game designers, writers, role playing and tabletop veterans and experts will be running campaigns, helping out, and handing out XP for a solid 48 hours!
