Susan Matthews

Susan's too old to remember when/where she was born. For most of her life she's been writing science fiction (the "Under Jurisdiction" universe, which she has frequently described as "The Life and Hard Times of 'Uncle' Andrej Koscuisko, who is Not a Nice Man." Most recently she's been at work on a fantasy trilogy, The High Pamir, using an acknowledged alter ego, Zarabeth Abbey. It's a species of magical realism that I like to describe as "Kipling's 'Kim," with kinks." The first book in the trilogy is The Wild High Places from Forest Path Books. The second book, The Ley Lines of Kashgar, is due out at the end of 2021.

Ask her about U-Boats in Outer Space, or U-Boats Unmoored in Space and Time: The Ghost Flotilla.
